Visit Dani and Korowai Tribe

This is a program opportunity for who love to visit two tribes are Dani Tribe in the Baliem valley and Korowai Tribe southern in Papua. The meeting and finish point is in Sentani Airport of Jayapura Papua. our English speaking guide will pick you up in sentani airport and transfer to Dekai Airport.

Day 1: Bali – Sentani of Jayapura

Your English speaking guide will meet you on your arrival in sentani airport. you will direct drive to Horison Sentani. Your bag live in your hotel and you can take only camera, passport and 2 pictures each for travel permit and go to arrange travel permit in Police office in Jayapura City.  Lunch, dinner in the Restaurant, Overnight in the Hotel.

 

Day 2 : Sentani-Wamena-North-Wamena

After breakfast leaving to sentani airport based on flight ticket fly to Wamena. Arrival in wamena airport, and short drive to Baliem Pilamo Hotel. show your travel permit to Wamena Police office.  you can continue tour – hiking north of wamena. Northern is where a mummy village, you will visit mummy plus local people. After visit mummy, we will hiking to hill rain forest visit SALT WATER WELLS. Local people called Elue Aimo. So you will know how Dani make banana salt cultivation in traditional skill.

Back to Jiwika by same way back to wamena.

Lunch on the hike (Lunch Boxes)

Dinner in the restaurant.

Overnight in the Baliem Pilamo Hotel.

 

Day 3 : Wamena-Klise

On this day go best hiking trekking in the beautiful southern of baliem valley. subsequently from Baliem Pilamo Hotel to Sogokmo by car. Sogokmo, Jetni, Kurima, Klise trekking.

Lunch, Dinner and over night in the Klise Traditional Guest House.

After lunch at 3pm you will hike last view point in Ibiroma.

 

Day 4 : Klise-Wamena

On day four, after breakfast trekking down valley to kurima, cross suspension bridge to seima, cross again another bridge to Sogokmo. Sogokmo to Wamena.

Lunch on the way, Dinner in the restaurant and sleeping in the Hotel.

 

Day 5 : Wamena-Dekai

After breakfast we leaving to the Wamena airport and flight to Dekai of Yahukimo. Arrival in  dekai, you will direct drive to Hotel. report you travel permit to Yahukimo police station.

Lunch, dinner in the local warung and overnight in the Hotel.

 

Day 6:Dekai-Logpon-Mabul

Wake up, shower, breakfast, leaving to Logpon by car. Logpon to Mabul village by boat. Arrival in the Mabul stay Dinner and sleeping in the Mabul firt Korowai Village.

 

Day 7-9: Mabul – Korowai Tree House – Mabul/Pepera

Day 10 : Mabul/Pepera-Dekai

Wake up, breakfast, leaving to Logpon by boat. Logpon to back to Hotel in Dekai Yahukimo.

Dinner and sleeping in the Dekai.

 

Day 11: Dekai- Sentani Jayapura

Back to sentani Jayapura. Sleeping in the Horison Sentani Papua.

 

Day 12: Sentani to Jakarta

End service you will leave from Papua.
